Suzanne M. Fitch currently practices in the areas of community association law, real estate and land use law, and general and commercial litigation. She advises condominium, townhome and homeowner associations on a variety of legal matters, including enforcement of governing documents (declarations, bylaws and rules and regulations), contract disputes, and general corporate representation.
Suzanne has been representing clients in residential real estate transactions for over ten years. Her background also includes land use (zoning) and municipal law as she began her legal career representing local governments. Suzanne volunteered as an appointed board member of the City of Wheaton’s Planning and Zoning Board for six years, and she has represented clients in zoning hearings in other communities. In April 2015, she was elected Councilwoman At-Large for the City of Wheaton. Her public service has contributed to her knowledge of local government law and the municipal process for approving commercial and residential real estate developments.
Suzanne graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2001 and received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the Illinois and DuPage County Bar Associations, the Illinois Municipal League and is actively involved her community.
